Tramshed Tech
Tramshed Tech has established itself in Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and Barry, offering offices, meeting spaces, networking and coworking spaces. Its mission is to connect tech, digital, and creative businesses with the spaces, support and skills they need to succeed. In so doing, the goal is to establish Wales as a global hub for tech innovation.
Tramshed Tech runs various programmes for start-ups which focus on helping them raise pre-seed funding, build out their teams, develop their products and services and prepare them for growth and scalability.
Typical programmes include:
- ‘Founder Academy Tech Start-up Programme’ – an intensive 6-week programme giving participants essential skills and knowledge for building their ‘tech venture’ from the ground up.
- ‘Start-up Academy Accelerator Programme’ – a 10-week accelerator intended for those early-stage tech start-ups who are ready to move to the next level. Through expert-led workshops and personalised mentoring, founders gain the tools, knowledge and support needed to validate ideas, test product/market fit, build customer traction and master investor-ready pitches.
- ‘Female Founder Investor Readiness Programme’ – a 6-month programme empowering Welsh female tech founders with the skills, mentorship and support required to raise capital.
- ‘The Gaming Accelerator’ – a 12-week programme, followed by 2-month mentoring, which supports gaming start-ups in Wales and helps them grow into sustainable, revenue-generating businesses.
- ‘The Green Tech Zero Programme’ – a 6-month initiative designed to support businesses in the Vale of Glamorgan who are developing innovative green solutions.
- ‘The Investor Readiness Programme’ – a 12-week programme designed for pre-seed and pre-customer tech founders looking to position their start-up for funding.
- ‘The Convergent Content Programme’ – a range of immersive workshops, industry-driven events and mentorship whereby creative, media and tech organisations across Wales explore fresh ways of creating and distributing content as well as reaching new audiences.
