We are delighted to announce that Regeno Ltd is our Pitch & Protect Winner!
Our Pitch and Protect 2025 initiative proved to be hugely popular and we had well over 100 applications to choose from, but out of those we are very happy to announce that Adarsh Bhardwaj of Regeno Ltd is this year’s winner.
Founded in 2023 by Adarsh Bhardwaj, an aero-mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Strathclyde, Regeno Ltd is a clean energy technology start-up based in Scotland, with a core business in the design and manufacture of modular, flat-pack, plug-and-play wind turbines.
Their modularity and portability enables renewable energy to become more accessible and affordable, as we all strive towards ‘net zero’.
Key aspects of the Regeno Ltd business include:
- Product innovation: Regeno is developing the world’s first modular wind turbine system that can be assembled without tools, cranes or specialist installers. This reduces installation costs and complexity, making it suitable for homes, businesses and remote locations.
- Sustainability focus: The turbines are made from recyclable materials, designed to be wildlife-safe, and can significantly cut carbon emissions, with reduction figures quoted at up to 1.5 tons per unit annually (equivalent to planting over 60 trees per year).
- Customer benefits: Each unit can save users up to 25% on electricity bills, provide energy even at night and offers rapid payback compared to traditional renewable solutions.
As a Pitch & Protect winner, Regeno Ltd have been awarded £10,000 in funding from SH&P towards intellectual property services.
