Amplify Venture
Amplify Venture offers 6-month programmes to London-based start-ups helping them scale up and expand their businesses.
The programme is funded by the UK Government and is free, but applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Their business must have a registered address in London and/or the business must trade in London;
- Their business must have been trading for at least 18 months;
- Their business must have generated at least £50K in revenue since the business started trading; and,
- Their business must have at least 2 employees.
Businesses can register their interest in applying to be on the programme and are notified as and when a new application process window opens.
The programme starts with a 2-day ‘boot camp’ of in-person workshops and masterclasses. Once the boot camp has been completed, successful participants are eligible for one-to-one coaching and additional tailored support.
The remainder of the programme covers topics such as ‘Business Models’, ‘Sales & Marketing’, ‘Finance’, and ‘Customer Growth’, which are explored through online workshops.
Following the boot camp, selected participants have access to peer support groups and executive-level coaches.
For those participants that successfully complete the boot camp there is access to events for peer connection, resource sharing and growth through collaboration.
Modules are available for selected participants, such as the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) module, a sector-focused accelerator for founders building consumer product businesses.
The programme concludes with a ‘Demo Day’, where selected participants have the opportunity to pitch their businesses to an audience of investors, journalists, start-up leaders and entrepreneurship supporters.
